Medtec Ireland is an independent satellite tradeshow of Medtec Europe, Europe’s largest conference for the medical device industry, and is the B2B tradeshow with the longest tradition in Ireland. Medtec Ireland attracts international attendees while maintaining a distinctly regional focus – 15 of the 20 largest global medical device companies have R&D and manufacturing facilities centered around Galway.  The city is the most highly concentrated site of the Irish medical device industry, with more than 40 percent of the sector working there.

The 2016 conference saw a fully booked exhibition area with 265 exhibitors, 900 attendees, and 28 speakers spread across 3 conference halls and overall growth of 19% in visitor numbers. Medtec Ireland 2017 should be the biggest conference yet.
