Precipart Mentioned in LI Technology News Article on Upcoming Defense and Aerospace Event
Precipart was mentioned in a Long Island Technology News article about an upcoming business development town hall for Long Island’s defense and aerospace sectors.
The March 20 event will be held at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Uniondale, and will focus on upcoming opportunities for Long Island firms that supply parts and equipment used by the military and aerospace industry.
The event will be hosted by ADDAPT (Aerospace & Defense Development And Peace Time Transition), with ADDAPT Chairman Robert Botticelli commenting:
“We have hundreds of supply chain firms right here on Long Island that supply parts and materials for our space program. Companies like Ausco, Innoveering, Precision Metals Corp., Precipart, Hicksville Machine Work and BAE are all helping America win the space war.”
Precipart unveiled an updated display at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in 2016, featuring an ejection seat actuator for fighter jets, such as the Joint Strike Fighter, as well as loose gears representative of the gears found in the Mars Rover and across commercial Airbus and Boeing jets.
